It had to happen. It happens to the best (and the worst) of us. I got married. And what better way to celebrate this wonderful union than by writing a bespoke flash gallery? I thought so too. So, here's the result at www.blimeyweremarried.co.uk

The gallery is written in pure Flash 8 and is designed to be as intuitively usable as possible. The overriding metaphor was chosen to simulate a real life situation of looking through lots of photo's and trying to look interested... it's hard to do. So this gallery spice things up a bit with physical feeling photographs that you can throw around, stack up, fan out etc. etc.

The gallery is fed by an XML feed, and a user is able to tag items with text (the postit note) have multiple albums inside albums, attach titles to the photographs and more!

We have loads of features to add to the gallery - including:

• video support - include that amazing video of your dad indulging in some dad dancing at the reception
• multi user interactive postits - so gallery viewers can leave their comments
• enhanced user upload interface - so Mr and Mrs Average (newlyweds) can upload content as well
• gallery locking - in case you don't want your faces splattered all over the net
